The Working Girl Meal
As a working girl I gravitate towards dishes that call for minimal prep & cook time. Growing up, this was the first fancy-esque dish I made because it didn’t require much technique yet when I would take the broiled salmon out of the oven I would feel like an accomplished chef. The only difference between my initial and current recipe is the quality of ingredients. In the past I would use frozen veggies as well as frozen salmon which I now consider to be culinary blasphemy! The ingredients I use now are fresh from my local Whole Foods (where I always manage to spend half my paycheck). So for those who love great meals but lack the skills to carry it out or just want something simple and divine, broiled salmon will never fail to please the taste buds.
